Brides-to-be are often slaves of their child's dreams, family customs and expectations. They must look like the wedding cake. Before meeting Basia and talking to her about the weeding I knew one thing: I WANT AN EXTRAORDINARY DRESS! And that was it as far as my expectations were concerned. Luckily Basia shared my viewpoint, and we started to think what kind of extraordinary dress would please us. It must be a short dress, we decided ...

We started looking for the dress in the Internet, because wedding shops do not have a trinket I dreamt of. I finally managed to find the one, which delighted me and I found a dressmaker with golden fingers, who agreed to sew it.
Birds were the main theme of the wedding. They were everywhere, in my hair, bouquet and decorations of my Husband and our Witnesses. Birds wee green, so green became automatically the main colour of the event. The "bird" motive was on invitations, name cards, bottle-neck hangers. We also used a picture of us on the invitation and bottle-neck hangers. We wanted all those printed elements were rather minimalist - so we used black, white and green colours. Basia suggested that we placed those name cards into a small stands, which would at the same time be a form of table decoration and guests may take them home as a souvenir if they want and put as a photo-holder. They were made especially for us of ceramic and wire. Name cards looked nice in those stands and actually many guests took them home as we expected. Colours and the main motive looked great in the interiors of Leśna Perła Restaurant, which are neutral and do not impose any specific style. The room decoration and flowers corresponded to winter season. The party was inaugurated by a performance of jazz quartet and thanks to that the atmosphere was cosy and warm, despite a snowstorm outside.

Wedding website, containing information on us, the wedding and gift suggestions, turned out to be very useful. Basia administered the website and coordinated the gift list.

I wouldn't change anything in my wedding and reception. Everything was perfectly organised and therefore we could enjoy ourselves, our families, friends. I had the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen and we used Volkswagen Beetle to et us to the church (I still do not know how we managed to find such a car), the wedding room was great, food was delicious, we had great fun thanks to professional work of DJ, and a photographer took wonderful pictures, both in winter and summer sceneries.
