My wedding was the first and thus most valuable experience in wedding planning for me. When it was over I felt I have not got enough and I still want to plan organise some events. The idea of planning Your weddings became reality. You can get rid of stress and I can participate in this fascinating process on and on cause it is such a great fun for me!

The wedding was a difficult project due to the fact that we had 160 guests invited and that it was the so called "theme wedding". The style of 1920s dominated. The idea for such a style was born, when I saw my wedding dress. It was classic dress for brides from 1920s.

The theme determined also my image, my short hair was sleek and smooth. I wore pearls. My husband adjusted to the style and wore a tailcoat and a bow tie. Invitations, bottleneck hangers and name cards were stylish and characteristic for the 1920s. I organised pre-wedding photo session in similar style so that we could put our photos  in invitations and print some of them in bigger formats and place them in ballroom. This was the method to make the big ballroom more cosy and personal. We drove retro taxi from 1930s to the hotel.

We danced waltz and the band played much jazz. Some guests, women in particular, felt the atmosphere and looked like flappers from „Great Gatsby”. The main colours in decorations were: violet and white.

The wedding was perfect. Everything went smoothly as I planned. Due to the fact that I paid attention to small details, nothing failed. But the day passed quickly. I am glad now I may focus on planning Your weddings… You can see PICTURES from our wedding /Basia/
